JULY 2021 A NEW ROTARY YEAR

  • All club goals MUST be entered by July 1, 2021 by club presidents in Rotary Club Central
  • Pay Rotary International dues
  • Pay District dues (head count and fees may be delayed if needed, contact District Treasurer, Roan Blacker for more info)
  • Change Rotary logo to ‘Serve to Change Lives’ on websites, social media and all marketing materials
  • Review 2021-2022 Presidential Citation with Rotary Club Board and Rotary Club 1st – Rotary Peace Fellowship applications due to RI
  • Service Award for a Polio-Free World – Nomination period July 1st – October 1st. Any Rotarian can nominate for a regional or international award
  • Polio Plus Pioneer Award July 1 – October 1, any Rotarian can nominate an Honors Rotarian who provided extraordinary service to polio eradication prior to November 1, 1992
  • 15th: Ensure membership updates are current in ClubRunner AND DACdb.
  • 26th: AG Monthly Meetings

AUGUST 2021 MEMBERSHIP & NEW CLUB DEVELOPMENT MONTH

  • Submit articles to UD5020 about your new projects and successes
  • Emphasize membership – Recruitment and Retention for year — share goals with club
  • Initiate Club Rotary Public Image campaign by highlighting your members using the People of
  • RI first half payment for dues is now past due
  • August 1st – February 1st nominate Rotaractors for Outstanding Project Awards
  • District Dues past due at end of August (unless District Treasurer has been notified)
  • Nominate a Rotarian for Service Above Self Award (deadline September 1st)
  • AG Monthly Meetings August 23, 2021 (new club advocate chair)

SEPTEMBER 2021 BASIC EDUCATION & LITERACY MONTH

  • Submit articles to UD5020 about your new projects and successes
  • Identify/promote/celebrate literacy initiative
  • District Governor interviews for Governor 2024-2025
  • 1st: Service Above Self Nomination deadline today
  • 27th: AG Monthly Meetings  (Foundation Chair)

OCTOBER 2021 COMMUNITY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MONTH

  • Submit articles to UD5020 about your new projects and successes
  • Promote the activities of your World Community Service Committee
  • 23rd: (ZOOM) District Council Meeting
  • 24th: World Polio Day
  • 25th: AG Monthly Meetings

NOVEMBER 2021 – ROTARY FOUNDATION MONTH

  • Submit articles to UD5020 about your new projects and successes
  • Invite a Foundation alumnus to speak at club
  • Conduct Foundation related activities, seek a service grant – celebrate Foundation related activities
  • Provide Foundation education: Paul Harris, EREY, Society, Major Donors and the new TRIPLE CROWN
  • Identify a candidate for Governor 2024-2025
  • Focus: Every Rotarian Every Year for Foundation giving (EREY)
  • Recognize club members who are Paul Harris Fellows, Benefactors, Society Members at club or area level
  • Promote early registration for RI International Convention, Houston, Texas
  • 5th: World Interact Day – consider a program
  • 15th: Deadline for Form 990 (US Clubs only)
  • 22nd: AG Monthly Meetings

DECEMBER 2021 – DISEASE PREVENTION & TREATMENT MONTH

  • Submit articles to UD5020 about your new projects and successes
  • Club Annual Elections MUST BE COMPLETED BY Dec 31, 2021
  • Submit “new officers’ data” & update membership data in ClubRunner
  • Update Rotary International (if not a ClubRunner club or are not integrated)
  • Conduct activities to support your club’s commitment to family, friends and community
  • Register President-Elect for PETS https://pnwpets.org/
  • 31st: Rotary generates Semi-Annual dues Report

JANUARY 2022 – VOCATIONAL SERVICE MONTH

  • REGISTER for District Training and Conference in Victoria May 13th – 14th 2022
  • Submit articles to UD5020 about your new projects and successes
  • Spotlight the vocations of your Rotary Club members
  • Confirm and correct club member and officer data on District Website
  • Host club assembly or firesides to get feedback from members on club progress – review club goals
  • Revisit the criteria for the Presidential Citation Awards
  • Promote the Four Way Test
  • 1st: Send SAR (semi annual report) and club dues to RI
  • 8th – 10th: Blue Denim in Seattle for Governor Line
  • 24th:  AG Monthly Meetings

MARCH 2022 – WATER, SANITATION & HYGIENE MONTH

  • Submit articles to UD5020 about your new projects and successes
  • Host Water & Sanitation programs at the club
  • Ensure incoming board is registered for DTAC (District Training and Conference)
  • 22nd: World Water Day
  • 28th: AG Monthly Meetings

APRIL 2022 – MATERNAL & CHILD HEALTH MONTH

  • Submit articles to UD5020 about your new projects and successes
  • Clubs should review Presidential Citation to determine which activities are yet required to qualify Rotary Club, Rotaract, and Interact clubs. Entering information in Rotary Club Central should automatically qualify clubs -Deadline for qualification is June 30
  • Apply for annual district awards
  • Promote District Training and Conference in Victoria May 13th – 14th 2022
  • Promote club projects for Maternal & Child Health
  • 1st: Club Membership Goals and Foundation goals should be entered into Rotary Club Central
  • 15th: Club Deadline for submission to the Governor of forms for recognition of Membership Development Initiatives
  • 25th: AG Monthly Meetings

MAY 2022 – YOUTH SERVICE MONTH

  • Submit articles to UD5020 about your new projects and successes
  • 12th: District Council Meeting (IN-PERSON)
  • 13th – 14th: District Training and Conference in Victoria

JUNE 2022 – ROTARY FELLOWSHIPS MONTH

  • Submit articles to UD5020 about your new projects and successes
  • Report club’s progress in meeting the goals of the Presidential Citation
  • Clubs plan joint incoming/outgoing board meetings
  • Clubs prepare a year-end audit and review of programs
  • Prepare the Club and Foundation year-end financial reports
  • Plan a formal installation ceremony to celebrate/acknowledge new board and outgoing board
  • Conduct fellowship activities and programs
  • 1st Peace Scholar Applications are due
  • 30th: Deadline to nominate a club for the Rotary Citation Award
  • 30th: Update membership information
  • 30th: Rotary semi-annual dues report
