Youth Exchange Committee

Young people can help unite the world as more than three decades of Rotary Youth Exchanges have demonstrated.

Every year approximately 7,000 students, ages 15 to 19 go abroad under this program, either for the academic year or a summer period. With the ability to learn a language quickly and adapt to a new environment, these students make enduring friendship and bridge cultural differences. The self-understanding and global outlook they gain in the process benefit them for a lifetime.
