The Rotary Foundation - Training Seminars 2007 - 08


Foundation Training is directly related to how our District performs in annual contributions to the Foundation – the more our members understand our Foundation and all the good it does in our world the more they will be inclined to support what is our very own charity.

District Training Seminars are open to all Rotarians with the primary audience being Club Foundation Chairs, Club Presidents, Club President-elects, Area Foundation Representatives, Assistant Governors and of course, new members to Rotary. All interested members are invited to attend.

Information regarding Seminars:

Please REGISTER early as per above – all Registrations are $20, US or Canadian, and funds will be collected at the door. Pre-Registration is preferable in order to determine numbers for lunch etc.

At the FOUNDATION SEMINAR you will…………..

  1. learn how to read the Club Recognition Summary report
  2. obtain ideas on how to improve the Foundation fundraising in your club
  3. discuss ideas on how to overcome objections to contributing to our Foundation
  4. take away handouts that will educate and inform your membership
  5. be compelled by video pictures of those who receive our help from funds contributed to the Rotary Foundation

Homework:

Please bring the following information with you:

  1. The most recent copy of your club’s Club Recognition Summary report
  2. A pen, a highlighter and a writing pad
  3. Your club Foundation goals for the year

Let’s make a fun day of learning more about the workings of the Rotary Foundation – all seminars will be from 9am – 3 pm and this will be the best $20 either you or your club could spend to inform, educate and motivate each and every one of you!
