The Rotary Foundation - Foundation Scholorships

2007-08 District 5020 Scholarships

The Rotary Foundation’s oldest and best-known program is Ambassadorial Scholarships. Since 1947 nearly 37,000 men and women from 100 nations have studied abroad under its auspices. Today it is the world’s largest privately funded international scholarship program. More than 1,000 scholarships were awarded for study in 2004-05. Each Rotary District administers the selection of scholars to represent that District. A Rotary District is geographical grouping of Rotary Clubs. Rotary District 5020 represents all of Vancouver Island and most of western Washington south of King County to the Oregon border including all of the Olympic Peninsula.
