Rotary for New Members - Rotary Foundation

Rotary Foundation

As well as giving service in their own community, Rotarians are urged to reach out to the wider world. The Rotary Foundation has been established to assist Rotary Clubs in fulfilling this purpose.

The objective of The Rotary Foundation is the furthering of understanding and friendly relations between people of different nations through the fostering of tangible and effective programmes of a philanthropic, charitable, educational, or other eleemosynary nature.

The Mission of The Rotary Foundation is to support the efforts of Rotary International in the fulfillment of the Object of Rotary, Rotary’s Mission, and the achievement of world understanding and peace through local, national, and international humanitarian, educational and cultural programmes.

Your regular charitable donations to The Rotary Foundation are vital to ensure that these objectives can be met. Every Rotarian is urged to be a sustaining member of the Foundation every year.

Recognitions of various levels of cumulative giving are the Paul Harris Fellow, Multiple Paul Harris Fellow; Benefactor, and Major Donor.
