  • Visit Protocol

    • The protocol for the District Governor visits.  What to expect and how to treat your DG.

  • National Anthems

    • The National Anthems for Canada and the US.  Music, words and a short story on who they came about.  It's considered proper protocol to sign both Anthems when the DG visits regardless of what country the club is in.

  • District Newsletter

    • RI requires that each District Governor publish a monthly newsletter for distribution to the district clubs. This page lists the current newsletter and past newsletters with a link to newsletters from Past District Governors.

  • District Documents

    • Various District documents for download, including Resolutions, budgets, expense claims etc.

  • District Committees

    • List of District committees and the members on them.

  • Assistant Governors

    • List of the District Assistant Governors.  We are working on this page and hope to have more information shortly

    • You guessed it.  A map of the District.

    • A calendar of District and club events.  Each club is encouraged to add their clubs events to the calendar.

  • District News

    • Various News articles about things of importance in the district.  Headlines of the news appear in the gold section to the right.  You can add news about your club if you like.  To become a club reporter contact Don Bonner and he will sign you up.  It's a lot of fun and pays nothing.  Welcome to Rotary.

  • District Alumni

    • Now this is interesting.  It's a database of GSE members, Ambassadorial Scholars, anyone who receives a Rotary foundation grant of scholarship award is an alumnus of a Foundation program.  Ambassadorial Scholars, recipients of Grants for University Teacher or Carl Miller Discovery Grants, Group Study Exchange team members, and Rotary Volunteers are all Rotary Foundation alumni.  The list of alumni is a wealth of Rotary club programs and a source of new Rotary club members.

  • District History

    • A list of all Past District Governors of District 5020 and the various districts before that. Plus an interesting article written by Dr. John Armenia, Director of Club Service about the history of  Rotary in this area.

  • District Video

    • Membership recruitment video for Rotary On Vancouver Island.

  • District Forum

    • A little used gem of programming.  This forum can be used by members of District 5020 to ask questions or answer questions that other people have.  I would invite you to try it out and use it.  The more that use it the better it gets.
