District Goals for 2007-2008


Membership

District 5020 is to have a net increase of 100 new members and strive for 2 net new members per club.

Public Image

District 5020 is to have a goal of 12 media stories within each area of the district, and strive for three media stories per club.

Service

District 5020 shall publicize planned and international service projects, and the district shall provide information and support so that every club in the district can be actively involved in at least one international service project.

District 5020 will continue to publicize and support community and vocational service projects initiated by Rotary clubs throughout the district.

Foundation

The Annual Program Fund District Goal is $125 average per member or $650,000.

  • Sustaining members: 2000 in the district and each club strive for 100%

  • Paul Harris/Multiple: 450 in the district and each club strive for 5

  • Paul Harris Society Members: 150 in the district and each club strive for 2

  • Benefactors: 450 in the district and each club strive for 5

  • Bequest Member: 80 in the district and each club strive for 1

  • Major Donors: 50 in the district and each club strive for 1

Shelter Box Program

District 5020 is to provide 100 shelter boxes; each club will strive to provide at least 1.
Support of Youth Programs

All clubs within District 5020 are encouraged to participate in Rotary youth programs such as Youth Exchange, RYLA, Interact, Rotaract, and the Jack Jeffery Youth Program for 2007-2008

Fellowship and Knowledge of Rotary

All Rotarians in District 5020 should make 2007-2008 the Rotary year in which they learn more about Rotary and its service work throughout the world. Each Rotarian is encouraged to visit other clubs and to “Share the Rotary experience” with others.
