DISTRICT 5020 GOALS

SUSTAIN AND INCREASE MEMBERSHIP:

  • 5% increase in new members "5 to Stay Alive" Emphasis on 100% retention of new members and maintaining 100% of membership total a/o 6/30/2003
  • 5 areas identified as possibilities for either Club Extension, Interact &/or Rotaract

IMPLEMENT SUCCESSFUL SERVICE PROJECTS:

  • A new project in each club to improve the lives of the youth &/or elderly in their communities! (e.g. Interact/Rotaract, youth at risk, senior services)
  • A new Clean Water Initiative Program (CWIP) project in each club to improve the lives of thousands of people in other countries.
  • A new World Community Service (WCS) project in each club to enable people in other countries to improve their quality of life (e.g. Rotaplast, or Land Mine Action)
  • Donations of thousands of books to promote Literacy within the District and around the World: "Karen's Korner"
  • Continued support of the Polio Eradication efforts
  • Continued support of the Global Quest by concentrating on membership Retention
  • Development of a beneficial, lasting, & worthy Centennial Project

SUPPORT THE ROTARY FOUNDATION:

  • $500,000 in Annual Giving to the Rotary Foundation total is par value; USD equiv. Is $415,000)
  • 5% new $100 Foundation Sustaining Members(250)
  • 5% new Permanent Fund Benefactors(250)
  • 50 new Bequest Society Members and or Major Donors
  • 5% new Paul Harris Fellows (250) encourage continued development of Multiple Paul Harris

DEVELOP LEADERS BEYOND THE CLUB LEVEL:

  • 5 names OR MORE from each club of potential District level volunteers
