    Conduct “world understanding” programs
 March 2008 - Literacy Month
  March 6 to 9 PETS 2008
  March 6 to 9 RYLA 2008 will be 6-9 March again at Pacific Lutheran University. Last year (2007) with District 5030 we were hosts to 110 young people from the Island and western WA. Get your application in early as we expect a crowd! All information is found on the RYLA website at www.rylanw.org including contacts, applications, directions, etc. Cost this year will be $300US submitted with your application.

  May 29- June 1 District Conference in Parksville “Share the Celebration”
    Deadline for DG to submit one club nomination for the RI Public
Relations Award and a nomination for Rotary Foundation Meritorious Service Award
 June 2008 - Rotary Fellowships Month
    Make certain that incoming and outgoing club boards have met
Prepare a year end audit or review of club programs
Prepare the year end financial reports for club and Foundation
Plan a dignified ceremony for the installation of new officers
Conduct fellowship activities and programs
  June 15 – 18 Rotary International World Convention, Los Angeles
Make this a year to attend!

A Rotary Foundation Benefactor is a person who has notified The Rotary Foundation (TRF) that he or she has made provisions in their final estate plans, or made an outright gift of $1000 US or more to TRF's Permanent Fund. ..more info...
